This suspensful drama is based on Crips, a novel written by South Central Los Angeles high school teacher Donald Baker, and directed by Steve Anderson, who served time in prison.

When Bobby (Glenn Plummer) returns as a reformed man, to his L.A. neighborhood after 10 years in prison, he learns his girlfriend is a desperate drug addict and Jimmie, his son is now a gang member. He sets out to save his son from a life of crime.
