The voices of Frank Welker and Tim Curry star in this animated comedy adventure which sees the Mystery Inc. gang step in to help a horror writer find out the truth about his ancestor, whose home town believes was a witch who still haunts the town and has made a tourist attraction out of the story. Velma (B.J.Ward) is a big fan of horror author Ben Ravenscroft (Tim Curry), so she is delighted when he steps in to help the Mystery Inc. team solve a museum mystery, and even more so when he invites them to visit him at home in the town of Oakhaven. They learn that the citizens of Oakhaven believe that Ben's ancestor Sarah was the town's witch, and in return for the persecution she was subjected to, she has returned to haunt them. The mayor of Oakhaven (Neil Ross) has transformed the town into a tourist attraction around the legend, but Ben believes that Sarah was a Wiccan healer instead of a witch, and wants Fred (Frank Welker), Daphne (Mary Kay Bergman), Velma, Shaggy (Scott Innes) and Scooby-Doo (Scott Innes) to help him prove it, leading them into another scary adventure.
