Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins star in this mystery drama about a teenager who stumbles upon a childhood picture of himself on a missing persons website, but whose search for answers lands him in the middle of an international battle involving terrorists and spies.
Set a high school assignment about missing children, Nathan (Taylor Lautner) starts his research on the net with his neighbour and classmate Karen (Lily Collins), which leads them to a website showing how children would look as they age. Nathan is startled to find that a photo of a missing child named Eric looks exactly as Nathan does now, and is wearing a shirt that Nathan recalls from his own childhood. Believing he may actually be the missing boy, Nathan tracks down the website owner, who is linked to a Serbian terrorist cell, and a chain of events is triggered which sees his home stormed by armed hitmen, his parents (Jason Isaacs and Maria Bello) killed and Nathan forced to go on the run when he discovers that he is a pawn in a plot to obtain some sought after secrets from his biological father, a former CIA operative.
