Sixtysomething music mogul, Harry (Jack Nicholson) is surrounded by plenty of beautiful young women. While romancing his latest young girlfriend at her mother, Erica's (Diane Keaton) beach house, they find she is already vacationing at the house with her sister Zoe (Frances McDormand). and Harry ends up having a heart attack there. The doctor, Julian Mercer (Keanu Reeves) orders Harry to stay close to the hospital, so while Erica takes care of him during his recovery, they find each other extremely irritating but eventually fall in love.
