This 1983 quirky fantasy comedy written by Steve Martin, George Gipe and Carl Reiner stars Martin and Kathleen Turner. While a brain surgeon Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr (Martin) has a cruel and unfaithful new wife Dolores Benedict (Turner), they take a honeymoon to Vienna and there he meets a mad scientist, Dr. Alfred Necessiter (David Warner), who has created a revolutionary technique enabling him to store living brains in liquid-filled jars. There he falls in love with a brain in a jar, #21 Ann, communicating telepathically. He races to find a body and transplant the brain in order to save her before her brain deteriorates and to love her completely - body and mind.
