Jason Statham and Clive Owen co-star with Hollywood veteran Robert De Niro in this action thriller based on a true story, which sees a former special ops man and his mentor pitted against a covert military group, whose leader is as devious as they are. A year after a hit job turned out badly for him, hired gun Danny Bryce (Jason Statham) is forced to come out of retirement when his mentor, Hunter (Robert De Niro) is abducted in Oman after he fails to complete an important job which involves the assassination of three former SAS agents involved in the deaths of three sons of a deposed Omani sheikh (Rodney Afif). With a large payment and Hunter's life in the balance, Bryce takes on the job with the help of colleagues Meier (Aden Young) and Davies (Dominic Purcell), but as they track their three targets across the globe, they come to the attention of Spike Logan (Clive Owen), head of a clandestine group of former military operatives known as the Feathermen, who will stop at nothing to abort Bryce's mission.
